  1. Falana Road Project: The Facts They Don’t Want You To See

Civic Wire can confirm that the office of Hon. Ganiyu Abiodun Johnson has broken its silence on the controversy surrounding the Falana Road project in Ejigbo, accusing political opponents of distorting the truth to mislead the public.

In a strongly worded statement, the office made it clear: *Hon. Ganiyu Abiodun Johnson facilitated and delivered a FULL-SCALE ROAD CONSTRUCTION project* from Falana Street down to Omiyale. Not a patch job. Not selective interlocking. A complete intervention with proper grading, drainage systems, gutters, and durable infrastructure that Ejigbo residents are using today.

*“Visit The Road Yourself”*
The statement challenges the OBE Media Team’s claims head-on, stating that the section they referenced was a separate stretch with existing drainage where only interlocks were added. The difference, the office says, is “obvious and verifiable” to anyone who walks the road today.

*Political Interference Alleged*
In a bombshell revelation, the office disclosed that when contractors mobilized to site with caterpillars and equipment, they were allegedly sent away. The office claims Hon. Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello, then Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, was fully aware of the project but chose “political projection over public good,” delaying a project meant to ease the daily burden of residents and commuters.

*“Stop Chasing Shadows”*
The office urged supporters of Hon. Oloyede Bello to stop “attempting to rewrite facts that are visible for all to see,” insisting that their earlier statement was factual, verifiable, and known to Ejigbo residents.

They also called for maturity in public discourse, warning that developmental projects should not be turned into propaganda tools or personal attacks.

*The Record Stands*
The Falana Road project remains one of Hon. Ganiyu Abiodun Johnson’s notable infrastructural interventions, further boosted by streetlights through Senatorial intervention for the safety and benefit of residents.

*“We speak with facts. Let the people of Ejigbo LCDA and Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II judge based on visible evidence,”* the statement concluded.
