The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the official timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 General Elections in Nigeria. This marks a significant step in preparing for the polls, which will include presidential, National Assembly, governorship, and state assembly elections. The timetable, as detailed in recent announcements, outlines key milestones from voter registration to election days. Below is a comprehensive breakdown based on INEC’s guidelines.
Key Dates and Activities
| Event/Activity | Date/Period |

| Submission of Candidates’ Lists | October 1 – October 31, 2026 (Parties upload names via INEC’s online portal; final list published on November 15, 2026.) |
| Display of Voters’ Register | October 2026 |
| Campaigns for Presidential and National Assembly Elections | November 18, 2026 – February 19, 2027 |
