The late legal practitioner passed away on Tuesday in Türkiye, where she had been receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness.

The Executive Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Olasoju Adebayo, has shared in the grief of Chief Israel Ojiekwe, a towering political and community leader, following the death of his cherished daughter, Barrister Chidinma Sandra Ojiekwe.

It was gathered that the late legal practitioner breathed her last on Tuesday in Türkiye, where she had been receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness.

Olasoju described the passing of the young lawyer as devastating and heart-wrenching, as he sent heartfelt condolences to Chief Israel Ojiekwe, the entire Ojiekwe family, and all who had the privilege of coming in contact with the deceased during her lifetime.

“It was with rude shock that I received the rather sad news of the passing of Barrister Chidinma Sandra Ojiekwe, the beloved daughter of Chief Israel Ojiekwe. The loss of a child, at whatever age, could be indescribably painful, especially one who lived a purposeful life and attained admirable heights in her profession. On this solemn note, I convey, on behalf of my family, the government, stakeholders, and the good people of Isolo LCDA, our deepest sympathies to Chief Ojiekwe and the entire family on this irreparable loss,” Olasoju said.

He further urged the family and other mourners to take solace in the impactful and exemplary life lived by the deceased, noting that her professional accomplishments, character, and service to humanity would remain enduring legacies.

While praying for the peaceful repose of her soul, the council boss also prayed that God grants the Ojiekwe family the fortitude to bear the loss and comfort them in this moment of profound grief.
